A Significant Milestone in Two Wineries' Climate Action Efforts
We are delighted to announce that two of our Applicant members have achieved Silver Member status, having completed a baseline, third-party verified GHG inventory across Scopes 1, 2, and 3. Congratulations to Champagnes Piper-Heidsieck, Rare & Charles Heidsieck (Champagne, France) and Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (Washington, USA)!

Their efforts in carbon emissions reduction and their commitment to spreading the word about the importance of our mission is evident.”
This brings the total number of IWCA Silver Members to 23. All IWCA Silver Members are committed to the same goal: reducing their GHG emissions to reach Net Zero by 2050. As part of this, they regularly conduct third-party verified GHG inventories to understand their progress and priorities areas for action (learn more about what it means to be an IWCA member here!).

The Champagne Houses Piper-Heidsieck, Charles Heidsieck & Rare Champagne have been based in Reims in the heart of Champagne for several centuries.
