A Global First for IWCA

In just a few days, IWCA will exhibit at Prowein for the first time! 16 IWCA winery members will show 30 wines over the three days of the show to showcase one of the largest — if not the largest! — collections of low emission wines at Prowein.

As strong advocates for the global decarbonization of the wine sector, our stand will be completely recycled and reusable. The walls and cabinets are recycled from previous fairs and the carpets will be reused in local health centers following the show. Thanks to the collaboration of Prowein’s organizers, the stand has been designed to reduce waste.

Events and Discussions

16 wineries from 8 countries and 3 continents will be showing their low emission wines: A to Z Wineworks (USA), Crimson Wine Group (USA), Domaine Bousquet (Argentina), Herdade dos Grous (Portugal), Herència Altés (Spain), Felton Road (New Zealand), Hill Smith Family Estates (Australia), Jackson Family Wines (USA), Bodegas Ramón Bilbao, (Spain), Ridge Vineyards (USA), Ste. Michelle Wine Estates (USA), Tikves (North Macedonia), Familia Torres (Spain), Familia Torres (Chile) and VSPT (Chile) and Yealands (New Zealand).

In addition to the tasting, IWCA will be holding open forum discussion groups for visitors on importance of carbon emission reduction (Sunday 10th March from 11am) and a regenerative viticulture session with IWCA supporters the Regenerative Viticultural Foundation (Monday 11th March at 11am).
