At Viñas Familia Gil, we firmly believe the land gives us back hundredfold the care we have for it. This feeling leads us to do what we do best, since 1916: Producing the finest wine while preserving both natural diversity and sustainability. This emotional imprint grafts us, in a natural way, into IWCA—with the simplicity and pride of being able to contribute, every day, to
sow for a brighter future.
About
Viñas Familia Gil
Bodegas Viñas Familia Gil has its roots back in 1916, the year in which Juan Gil Giménez built a small family-owned winery located in the heart of the city of Jumilla. Four generations later, Viñas Familia Gil, owning 11 wineries across the Spanish territory, can be found in ten Spanish appellations. In addition to being a sustainable firm, Viñas Familia Gil relies on the native varieties of each area by striving to preserve the heritage posed by old vines and unique grape varieties. More than two thousand hectares of vineyard in property plus the commitment from hundreds of wine growers results in a thorough control of the grapes in order to maintain the brand quality. Work and life philosophy where the land is the origin of their identity. Caring for the land is essential in order to produce the finest wines.
