AdVini becomes IWCA Silver Member

We are thrilled to announce that ADVINI has recently become a silver member of IWCA, following the approval of its emissions inventory by the organization’s Inventory Review Committee.
This recognition validates the consistent work carried out across the company in measuring, reducing, and transparently reporting its greenhouse gas emissions.
AdVini is one of France’s leading wine groups, uniting renowned estates across France and South Africa. Sustainability sits at the heart of its strategy, with a strong focus on biodiversity, responsible viticulture, carbon reduction and the long-term health of vineyard ecosystems. Several of its estates are recognised pioneers in organic, biodynamic and agroecological farming, reflecting their commitment to producing quality wines while protecting the environment for future generations.
Commenting on the membership, Antoine Leccia, CEO of AdVini, said:
"Joining a collective of leaders driving transformation was a natural step for us. The mission and values championed by IWCA strongly resonate with AdVini's own commitment to responsible and sustainable wine production."
For AdVini, climate action is not only about reducing emissions. It is also about preserving vineyard ecosystems, landscapes and winegrowing know-how for future generations. Reflecting this long-term commitment, sixth-generation winegrower and AdVini Board Member Brigitte Jeanjean said:
“I cultivate vineyards that were passed on to me, and I intend to do everything in my power to ensure they can be passed on to future generations.”
Carmen Etcheverry, ESG Director at AdVini, added:
"As wine producers, we are on the front line of environmental challenges. We have a responsibility to take action, contribute our share and help pave the way for the wider wine industry."

AdVini’s membership in IWCA builds on a climate strategy already underway. The Group has committed to reaching Net Zero emissions by 2050, with interim milestones and a decarbonization roadmap aligned with the objectives of the Paris Agreement.
To ensure effective implementation, AdVini combines strong group-level governance with locally adapted action plans across its wine regions, estates and business functions. Emissions reduction pathways are developed by wine region and category of emissions, enabling practical and measurable actions that reflect local realities while contributing to the company’s overall climate ambition.
IWCA is a rapidly growing collective of 170+ wine-producing companies present in 16 countries across the globe. Its members form a unified voice for change, promoting reduction in carbon emissions and setting the standard for decarbonization internationally. The organization’s certification is recognized globally with retailers and industry professionals and authenticates winery action to promote emission reduction.
Commenting on AdVini’s Silver membership to IWCA Katie Jackson, President and founding member of IWCA said:
“We are delighted to recommend this leading French and South African producer. AdVini’s work on the environment and in carbon emission reduction is exemplary and sets a high standard in the wine sector.”
