SANTA ROSA, CALIF. & VILAFRANCA DEL PENEDES, SPAIN. October 2025) – Château Tours

de Termes, St Estèphe has just become a silver member of IWCA.

International Wineries for Climate Action (IWCA) is delighted to announce that leading Bordeaux

producer Château Tours des Termes, St. Estèphe, has achieved the coveted status of Silver Member of the IWCA.

Lesley O'Connor, on behalf of the O'Connor family and owner of Château Tours des Termes, said,

“Achieving silver membership with International Wineries for Climate Action marks a milestone on Tour des Termes’ journey as a climate leader. It reflects our family’s mission, values, and vision for the vineyard. Since my father Eddie O’Connor acquired the estate in 2023, we’ve been transforming, building the first LEED-certified wine cellar in France, aiming for full renewable energy independence, and creating new wines that stay true to Saint-Estèphe’s terroir.

“This recognition shows we’re serious, verifiable, accountable, ambitious,” she continued, “but also that we have more to give: more life in our soils, more biodiversity, more flavor uniting heritage and ambition. We see ourselves not just as custodians of vines and land, but storytellers of a place in transition. To be recognized now at this moment of evolution is energizing for us as owners, and we celebrate the team who have got us this far. But the real work is only just beginning.”
