Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (C.V.N.E.)

The history of C.V.N.E. dates back to 1879, when the Real de Asúa brothers arrived in Haro for health reasons and their journey led to the creation of the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España, C.V.N.E. This was the birth of a family winery that is still in the same hands five generations later. Throughout its history, C.V.N.E. has not stopped growing with the aim of making the best wines and rescuing and enhancing the vineyards that help to create them. C.V.N.E. has six wineries and vineyards in the main wine regions of Spain: C.V.N.E., Viña Real and Viñedos del Contino in Rioja; Roger Goulart in Penedés; Bela in Ribera del Duero, and Virgen del Galir in Valdeorras. Respect for history, heritage, land and tradition has always been present and is one of the company's core values. C.V.N.E. is known for its quest for excellence in winemaking, combining tradition, innovation and sustainability; taking the utmost care of the processes to which it gives its environmental awareness and its strong commitment to the environment; and its aim to reduce CO2 emissions.
